1 / Departure from Manila
Leave Manila at 5:00 am, but during holidays and weekends, especially during the dry season, departure is at 3:00 am.
2 / Arrival
Arrive at the destination at 7:00 am.
3 / Trek to the Top
Begin the trek to the top of Nagtapong Rock. The climb takes 3-4 hours round trip, depending on fitness and photo stops.
Note that weekends, especially during summertime, can be busy on the last part of the climb, where wooden stairs and ropes are used.
4 / Views from the Top
Reach the top of the rock around 9 am and enjoy 360-degree stunning views over the Sierra Madre mountain range.
5 / Early Departure Recommended
Consider leaving very early, e.g., 3 am, to avoid the crowds on busy days.
6 / Return to Starting Point
Return to the starting point by 11 am.
7 / Lunch
Enjoy lunch from 11 am to 12 noon.
8 / Visit to Daranag Falls
Proceed to Daranag Falls at 12:30 pm.
9 / Swimming at the Falls
Have a refreshing swim at the falls for about 1 hour.
10 / Return to Manila
Depart for Manila at 2 pm.
